Mexico City, Mexico (Art 5)
Spend 10 days exploring art in Mexico City, from Aztec sculpture to muralism and beyond. Through this GE Area C course, you will not only learn about Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo and other famous modern artists, but also about emerging contemporary artists. Trip highlights include visits to Kahlo’s Casa Azul, the ancient city of Teotihuacan, the floating gardens of Xochimilco, and many artist studios across this bustling metropolis. No previous art coursework is required.
