Course Offerings

Nonprofit Organizations, Management, and Governance (NPM 101)

1.5 CEUs

This course will introduce the participants to key concepts in the nonprofit sector. Participants will develop and understanding of the history and background related to nonprofits locally and nationally. Participants will explore structures and governance that form nonprofits. In addition, participants explore collaborative ecosystems in the field while understanding how diversity, equity, inclusion, and access are part of the underlying fabric of nonprofits.

Fund Development for Nonprofit Organizations (NPM 102)

1.5 CEUs

In this course, participants will learn the key skills and tools needed to help grow the nonprofit through fund development and grant writing. Participants will learn how to build relationships and make connections within the community. Participants will learn additional tools needed around the nonprofit sector such as (501(c)(3) status, campaigns, and cultivating major donors. In addition, participants will learn development through the lens of diversity, equity, inclusion, and access throughout this course.

Program Development and Service Delivery  (NPM 103)

2.0 CEUs

Participants will learn about the services and programs nonprofits provide to achieve their mission and engage their community. Learn the tools nonprofits must use to successfully plan, implement and evaluate programs and projects. Learn ways to ensure equity, diversity, inclusion, and access are not overlooked when providing programs and services. In addition, participants will learn about special populations and how to best address community concerns and issues.

Resource Management - Employees and Volunteer Management (NPM 104)

1.5 CEUs

Participants will learn key leadership skills and principles to help recruit, motivate, and engage the staff and volunteers of the organization. Participants will learn the tools and strategies needed to manage conflict with paid staff or unpaid staff. In addition, participants will understand the key role diversity, equity, inclusion, and access play in staff and volunteer management.
