Instructional Opportunities
Have you ever thought about teaching?
Do you consider yourself an expert in your field?
The College of Continuing Education is always looking for instructors and industry professionals who are interested in sharing their knowledge and expertise with other adults.
As one of our part-time instructors or consultants, you would have the benefit of meeting and networking with others who share your interests and gaining valuable experience that will enhance your resume.
There are a variety of ways you, as a subject matter expert, can work with the College of Continuing Education:
As an instructor, enjoy a flexible teaching schedule. Most of our classes are offered twice a week during the evenings or in one or two-day sessions. Also, instructors may work under contract to develop and teach customized training for CCE clients.
As a guest speaker, enrich the depth of a course by making a brief presentation to program participants or industry professionals. Along with courses, CCE arranges a variety of events for students and clients, and we are always looking for top industry professionals interested in sharing their perspective and experience.
As a faculty coordinator, assist CCE program teams with coordinating the scope of an entire training program or organizational development project. Faculty coordinators help recruit other instructors and work with them, as well as assist CCE program staff and clients in developing the content for programs.
As a curriculum developer, use your subject matter expertise to develop course materials for CCE programs or clients.
