ID 091 Independent Travel Study (ID 091)
1.0 – 6.0 Academic Credits | Fall, Spring, Summer
Applicants for this program are required to pre-plan the program of study and submit a written proposal approximately six weeks prior to departure for approval. This course provides the opportunity to earn academic credit for planned learning experiences while in the U.S. or in a foreign country.
ID 191 Independent Travel Study (ID 191)
1.0 – 6.0 Academic Credits
Independent Travel Study provides the opportunity to earn
academic credit for planned learning experiences while
traveling in the U.S. or in a foreign country. Applicants for
this program are required to pre-plan the program of study
and submit a written proposal approximately six weeks prior
to departure for approval. Materials required for evaluation
upon completion of the study include the actual itinerary, a
journal of activities related to the study topics and a
written report that demonstrates evidence of achieving the
proposed goals. Audio-visual materials are optional and may
also be submitted to support the project. If credit is being
earned in Interdisciplinary Studies, the objectives of the
program should include several academic disciplines.
GRADE RULE: CREDIT/NO CREDIT.
