Costa Rica & Guatemala (PUBH 190)
This study abroad program to beautiful Costa Rica and Guatemala is designed to allow students to experience a unique culture first-hand and view a different society through the lens of health, risk prevention, and wellbeing. You will develop the knowledge and tools to be a more effective public health practitioner who views the world through a more comprehensive and culturally aware lens.
Payment
Cost: $3,730
Included in cost:
- Course Fees: PUBH 190 (3 units)
- Travel Insurance
- Airport pick-up and drop-off
- Accommodation at three-star hotels and in local homestays
- Meals: breakfasts (12); lunches (8) and dinners (8)
- All fieldwork activities
- In-country transportation (ground, water, air – including domestic flight in Costa Rica and one-way flight from SJO to GUA)
*Cost does not include round-trip airfare from the United States.
