Course Credit Services

The College of Continuing Education (CCE) partners with organizations to provide course credits for professional development and training courses, after being reviewed and approved by subject matter experts. Often referred to as "contract education," these partnerships allow organizations to offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and can be used for educational offerings, including trainings, seminars, workshops, and conferences.

What are CEUs?

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) were designed as a uniform unit of measurement which facilitates the accumulation and exchange of standardized information about individual participation in non-credit continuing education activity. The CEU may be used for the quantitative measurement, recording, reporting, accumulation, transfer and recognition of participation by adults in non-credit continuing education activities.

Information for Organizations

Interested in offering CEUs for your training?
Please connect with us at least three months prior to your training to discuss options and ensure enough time for review and approval of your curriculum.

Information for Participants

Please work directly with your organization to secure your seat and participate in the educational activity. Registration and payment instructions will be provided to you and must be received no later than two weeks following the last class meeting. No refunds are available.

If you are pursuing CEUs to advance on your organization’s pay scale, please check with your organization directly in advance regarding acceptance of these credits and possible salary advancements. CCE is not directly involved with these decisions.
