Overview
The Modern Greek Language program offers students the opportunity to experience study-abroad instruction in a fully online format! Elementary and intermediate Modern Greek courses (GREK 6A/6B and 7A/7B) are offered fully online and taught by university faculty in Athens, Greece. Through these courses, you can develop the foundational skills in speaking, reading, and understanding the Modern Greek language. These courses are offered through a partnership with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

- High school students, community college or university-level students seeking to fulfill a foreign language requirement
- Individuals who work or interact with Greek-speaking communities
Format
Courses are offered as fully online, 15-week classes with synchronous meetings. Greek 6A and 7A are typically offered in the fall term, and Greek 6B and 7B are typically offered in the spring term. Each class is worth four units of academic credit.
If you live outside of California, see if Sacramento State has secured authorization or exemption to enroll students from your state in its online programs.
