Cybersecurity Summit Relies on Planning Expertise
More than 700 people learned the latest strategies to combat cyber attacks at the 2017 State of California Cybersecurity Summit in Sacramento. Conference and Training Services (CTS) teamed up with the California Department of Technology in presenting the conference, which featured two dozen of the hottest topics in cyber defense.
Lynda Gledhill, deputy secretary in the California Government Operations Agency, praised the expertise of CTS head planners, Susan Gonzalez and Michela Jones, in managing “every last detail.” Here is Gledhill’s full assessment:
“Partnering with Conference and Training Services was critical to the success of the 2017 State of California Cybersecurity Summit. From the initial outreach to the post-event survey, staff were well prepared, professional and exceeded the Department of Technology’s expectations. Susan and Michela managed every detail of our event and worked with multiple personnel as they pulled together materials, keynote speakers and infinite logistics. The event was the one of the best the department has hosted and we credit that success to our partnership. We are already planning next year’s conference!”
