Students in the Multimedia Journalism Summer Academy got a tour of the renovated ABC10 studios, formerly News10. The two instructors, George Warren and Sharon Ito, are News10 alumni: George worked as a multimedia journalist and Sharon Ito as a news anchor before both moved to Sacramento State.
The high school students learned to videotape, narrate and edit their own videos during the week-long academy. These new student multimedia journalists found some interesting stories in their own backyards.
