For a third straight year, the College of Continuing Education (CCE) took home bragging rights and the Golden Spatula Award following a Homecoming tradition at Sacramento State – the tailgate competition.

The festivities took place on Saturday, Oct. 20 in the Sac State parking lot. This year, CCE volunteers picked “Good Vibes” as the tailgate theme, and “the good vibes paid off,” said Tasha McLaughlin, a financial services coordinator at CCE, who helped organize the event.

CCE’s tailgate is an annual thank you party for staff and their families, along with faculty and other college partners, More than 100 guests stopped by. The tie-dyed surroundings and the peace bus were as a big draw.
